Having founded our business as a new start operation in East Kilbride 10 years ago and with firm roots being established as well as a strong commitment to our local communities, the team at DS have decided to set up our very own DS Football Academy in the area.
Our vision for this Academy will be to provide the benefits of Health, Fitness, Well-Being and an Equality for all children in our demographic area – Free of Charge.
The kids who become part of our Academy will have the choice to simply “play for fun” by getting consistent game time and high quality training sessions from our SFA (or other National FA) Accredited Coaches therefore benefitting their overall health and mental well-being or to focus on creating the best possible opportunity for themselves to prepare for life in one of the UK’s Professional Football Academies, should that opportunity present itself to them as they progress.
Ultimately, our Ambition as a Football Academy is to serve the entire youth footballing community of our area, to provide a platform and an opportunity for all of our children to freely participate in the sport, and lastly, to provide those kids who do have the talent, desire and motivation to pursue their ambitions in football with a real and transparent Roadmap through the early stages of their careers with as many tools and as much support as we possibly can.
Having strong links and partnerships already in place with many Scottish Professional Clubs as well as relationships throughout the rest of the UK and Europe through our FA accredited Football Agency, the DS Football Academy will provide the next generations of footballers with a great foundation of Knowledge, Training & Discipline to help them grow and develop through their younger years.
